Licences and credits
Who owns what you see on this site, and on what terms we use it: fonts, icons, map, photos, trademarks, translations and software.
Last revised: 23 October 2026.

In short
This site is also made of other people’s work: fonts, icons, the map, the software it runs on, a few photos. Everything is here, with the name of whoever made it and the terms on which we use it.
- We keep to the terms. Where a licence asks for a copyright notice, its own text or an attribution, you will find them on this page or in the files it links to.
- Free software. The site runs on free (open source) software, with its licences; for machine translations the admin panel may use outside services, described below.
- What we do not know, we say. If we do not know who made an image we say so, rather than make it up. If you recognise it, write to us.
- The rest belongs to the cooperative. Texts, layout and the code written for the site are its own.
The cooperative’s
What is ours
The site’s texts, its layout, the code written for it and the photos the cooperative holds the rights to are © LA CHIUSA Soc. Coop.. The © sign at the bottom of every page covers these, not the works listed below, which remain their authors’.
You may quote our pages and link to them wherever you like. To reuse texts or photos, ask first: write to stazionedichiusaforte@gmail.com.
Licence condition
The map
The map in the Contact section is put together from the tiles of the standard OpenStreetMap map, downloaded once and served by our own server. We added the station marker ourselves.
The data are © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database License (ODbL): openstreetmap.org/copyright
The attribution also sits under the map, as the licence requires.
Licence condition
The fonts
- Jost — the site’s typeface. © The Jost Project Authors, SIL Open Font License 1.1.
- Inter — the admin panel’s typeface. © The Inter Project Authors, SIL Open Font License 1.1.
The licence asks for its text to travel with the font files. Here it is, served by our server together with the fonts:
Jost: OFL-Jost.txt
Inter: OFL-Inter.txt
Licence condition
The icons
The site’s icons are in the style of Lucide. Many come from Lucide (ISC licence, © Lucide Icons and Contributors), and some of those from Feather (MIT licence, © 2013-present Cole Bemis); the others were drawn for this site, in the same style, by its graphic design.
The admin panel’s icons are Heroicons (MIT licence, © Tailwind Labs, Inc.) and Filament’s own icons (MIT licence).
The texts of the ISC and MIT licences are at the bottom of this page.
Copyright
The logo
The station’s logo was drawn by Luca Zaro. The icon the site shows in the browser tab and the one for phone home screens are crops of the same logo.

Photos and images
These images were uploaded with the name of their author:
- Andrea Faleschini
- 5 images
- Lorenzo Burello
- 11 images
- Marianna Faleschini
- one image
10 images uploaded from the admin panel have no rights declared yet: they come from the cooperative’s previous website and will be replaced or completed.
The vintage photo of the station, which the site uses as a preview when a page is shared, has an unknown author and archive. If you recognise it, or know whose it is, write to us at stazionedichiusaforte@gmail.com: we will credit it properly.
The covers of the books in the bookshop remain their authors’ and publishers’: we show them only to present the books.

Services
Machine translations
For the English and German texts the editorial team may start from a machine translation suggestion, and may also save it as it is. Book summaries translated by machine and not yet reread carry the note «Machine translation» next to them; for the other texts a line at the bottom of the English and German pages says so.
- DeepL.com — the machine translator by DeepL SE. When a book summary appears exactly as it suggested, a note next to it says so. on today
- Google Translate — Google’s machine translator, an alternative to DeepL. off today

Software
The site’s software
The public site sends no third-party libraries to your browser: we wrote its JavaScript and style sheets ourselves. The only exceptions are these:
| Component | Copyright holder | Licence |
|---|---|---|
| Vite (the module preloading function) | VoidZero Inc. and Vite contributors | MIT |
| normalize.css 8.0.1 (in the error pages) | Nicolas Gallagher and Jonathan Neal | MIT |
| Laravel (in the error pages) | Taylor Otwell | MIT |
On the server the site runs on Laravel, Taylor Otwell’s free software (MIT licence), with PHP and MySQL provided by Aruba.
Software
The admin panel’s software
The panel where the cooperative updates the site is built with Filament and Livewire. Whoever uses it receives the code of these libraries in their browser; the sign-in page, which anyone can open, receives part of it (Filament, Livewire, Alpine.js and their dependencies):

The packages on the server
On the server the site uses these free PHP packages. The site reads the list itself from the installed packages, so it is always the real one.

excluding communication that is conspicuously marked or otherwise
designated in writing by the copyright owner as "Not a Contribution."
"Contributor" shall mean Licensor and any individual or Legal Entity
on behalf of whom a Contribution has been received by Licensor and
subsequently incorporated within the Work.

where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable
by such Contributor that are necessarily infringed by their
Contribution(s) alone or by combination of their Contribution(s)
with the Work to which such Contribution(s) was submitted. If You
institute patent litigation against any entity (including a
cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that the Work
or a Contribution incorporated within the Work constitutes direct
or contributory patent infringement, then any patent licenses
granted to You under this License for that Work shall terminate
as of the date such litigation is filed.
4. Redistribution. You may reproduce and distribute copies of the
Work or Derivative Works thereof in any medium, with or without
modifications, and in Source or Object form, provided that You
meet the following conditions:
(a) You must give any other recipients of the Work or
Derivative Works a copy of this License; and
(b) You must cause any modified files to carry prominent notices
stating that You changed the files; and
(c) You must retain, in the Source form of any Derivative Works
that You distribute, all copyright, patent, trademark, and
attribution notices from the Source form of the Work,
excluding those notices that do not pertain to any part of
the Derivative Works; and
(d) If the Work includes a "NOTICE" text file as part of its
distribution, then any Derivative Works that You distribute must
include a readable copy of the attribution notices contained
within such NOTICE file, excluding those notices that do not
pertain to any part of the Derivative Works, in at least one
of the following places: within a NOTICE text file distributed
as part of the Derivative Works; within the Source form or
documentation, if provided along with the Derivative Works; or,
within a display generated by the Derivative Works, if and
wherever such third-party notices normally appear. The contents
of the NOTICE file are for informational purposes only and
do not modify the License. You may add Your own attribution
notices within Derivative Works that You distribute, alongside
or as an addendum to the NOTICE text from the Work, provided
that such additional attribution notices cannot be construed
as modifying the License.
You may add Your own copyright statement to Your modifications and
may provide additional or different license terms and conditions
for use, reproduction, or distribution of Your modifications, or
for any such Derivative Works as a whole, provided Your use,
reproduction, and distribution of the Work otherwise complies with
the conditions stated in this License.
5. Submission of Contributions. Unless You explicitly state otherwise,
any Contribution intentionally submitted for inclusion in the Work
by You to the Licensor shall be under the terms and conditions of
this License, without any additional terms or conditions.
Notwithstanding the above, nothing herein shall supersede or modify
the terms of any separate license agreement you may have executed
with Licensor regarding such Contributions.
6. Trademarks. This License does not grant permission to use the trade
names, trademarks, service marks, or product names of the Licensor,
except as required for reasonable and customary use in describing the
origin of the Work and reproducing the content of the NOTICE file.
7. Disclaimer of Warranty. Unless required by applicable law or
agreed to in writing, Licensor provides the Work (and each
Contributor provides its Contributions) on an "AS IS" BASIS,
WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or
implied, including, without limitation, any warranties or conditions
of TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, or FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You are solely responsible for determining the
appropriateness of using or redistributing the Work and assume any
risks associated with Your exercise of permissions under this License.
8. Limitation of Liability. In no event and under no legal theory,
whether in tort (including negligence), contract, or otherwise,
unless required by applicable law (such as deliberate and grossly
negligent acts) or agreed to in writing, shall any Contributor be
liable to You for damages, including any direct, indirect, special,
incidental, or consequential damages of any character arising as a
result of this License or out of the use or inability to use the
Work (including but not limited to damages for loss of goodwill,
work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction, or any and all
other commercial damages or losses), even if such Contributor
has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Accepting Warranty or Additional Liability. While redistributing
the Work or Derivative Works thereof, You may choose to offer,
and charge a fee for, acceptance of support, warranty, indemnity,
or other liability obligations and/or rights consistent with this
License. However, in accepting such obligations, You may act only
on Your own behalf and on Your sole responsibility, not on behalf
of any other Contributor, and only if You agree to indemnify,
defend, and hold each Contributor harmless for any liability
incurred by, or claims asserted against, such Contributor by reason
of your accepting any such warranty or additional liability.

APPENDIX: How to apply the Apache License to your work.
To apply the Apache License to your work, attach the following
boilerplate notice, with the fields enclosed by brackets "[]"
replaced with your own identifying information. (Don't include
the brackets!) The text should be enclosed in the appropriate
comment syntax for the file format. We also recommend that a
file or class name and description of purpose be included on the
same "printed page" as the copyright notice for easier
identification within third-party archives.
